York

We're just back from a couple of days in York.  It was a holiday of firsts, our first holiday as a family and our first time in a youth hostel.

We had a great time, Dig and Jorvik were fantastic and T is now undecided whether she wants to be an archaeologist or a paleontologist.

We did all the usual sites, York Minster, The Castle Museum and York Museum and the National Railway Museum.

Thankfully the weather was good.  We can now go to all the museums plus the Minster, Jorvik and Dig again for free as many times as we want in the next year which is great value.  Think some day trips or an overnight stay might be done again.
