We haven't been up to that much over the last week as we've all come down with horrible colds. T and Daddy started first and they generously passed their germs on to me. It's been the first time that we've all been ill at the same time and it's been a little bit stressy. T has been getting very grumpy, throwing massive temper tantrums and I've just been getting very annoyed and stressed and not at all being the Mother that I would like to be.
We went to Dunham Massey ( a local national trust property) when they had their Nifty Normans weekend, which was great fun. We watched a George Vs the Dragon play (although the dragon looked more chicken like in my opinion) which was great fun and very silly.
T has also got her first bike and is very much enjoying learning to ride it. Thankfully we decided to get one with a parent handle as she's not quite got the idea that peddling, steering and looking where she's going, should all be done at the same time. She's too nosey and keeps looking around at anything she finds interesting.
We've also finally been sorting out our neglected garden. We've got some veggies growing in containers (lettuce, raddish, beetroot, parsnip and dwarf green beans) and so far they seem to be growing ok. I'm not very green fingered at all and have done well so far to have a couple of spider plants and an aloe vera plant that haven't kicked the bucket yet. T is really enjoying growing the veg and can't wait to eat them (she's a star and loves her salad). We're also blessed to get lots of birds in our garden and have started putting out seed for them which they seem to be loving. T loves feeding the birds when she goes to grandma and grandads.
